The most amazing ice hockey season of my life so far.

I started to think about the last 8 months of my life and became to a result that it has been the most amazing ice hockey season of my life so far.

So 8 months ago I was moving to a whole new country, that I had only visited couple of times before. Those visits had been the only touch of mine to Hungary so far. I even took my horse with me so I had something to do there. 

Little bit scared and still so excited in August I packed my stuff and horse to the trailer in Finland and started the journey. Horse had only traveled inside of Finland so I was little worried for her, but for nothing. Journey by ferry from Helsinki to Tallinn, through Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland and Slovakia went really well, for the horse and for us. 

Back in Miskolc my travel company (dad and Jukka's dad Heikki, I don't think I have thanked you two enough for making that trip with me) stayed for one night and headed home. There I was confused what would happen now. And new culture, people and habits did take time to get into.

When months past I got to know all the great people. First from the horse stable and then from the rink. Both horse stables that I've been so far have treated me and my horse well. Different ways but still I regret nothing. The one I've been longer got me to know my trainer and friend Fatima, her sister Amina, Eszter and all the other nice people (who don't always understand me, but it's not so serious. Is it? :) I've learned so much of horse back riding and showjumping and so has my horse Tara.

And then the rink. All Hungarian and Canadian friends of mine (+couple of girls from States). The season would have been really boring to watch and feel without Jamie, little Novis, Meagan, Leanne, Gina, Natalie, Bernadett and all you guys. Time at the rink and outside of it has been amazing with you! 
Then all the Canadian and Hungarian players I've got to know. You made the season worth to watch. I never thought I'd have the feeling I had when you won Nove Zamky in the fourth final. Throughout the season it has been so exciting and fun to watch but that one was amazing! Three golds this year... Not any team can do that. :p I hope I see most of you there also next year! And of course my new Finnish friend Juhamatti from Romania, little bit Finland through the year was a really good to have at the rink now and then. 

From the coaches.. Ice, Jukka's lovely assistant coach from last year already. We couldn't have done(understood ;) most of the things without you! You've been amazing to us! Märt, the journeys to Austria, couple of rides to Budapest airport and the whole season! It was so much fun. I really hope to see you soon! And Steffi. Not from the rink, but through Märt. Austria, VIP Vienna Capitals, party in Wien. ;)

Mogyi, the best coach of the year, doesn't that tell you guys enough? Nice guy, great coach and such a talent. Thank you also for making this hockey season worth to watch and experience. 
And Geri! Thanks for helping us arranging about everything, I don't think it would have been this easy without you.

Then Marissa. I didn't meet you at the rink, but still got some new hockey company(of course. Who in States doesn't like hockey?) and a lifetime friend. Fortunately our journey still continues in Miskolc next year also. And Peter also, all the stupid jokes through the year :D

Last but not least my fiancee Jukka. Thank you for letting me experience all this. I wouldn't change a day we've spent together. Let's make our adventure even more exciting next year! <3

So thank you for each one of you for making my 8 months so amazing! Hope to see most of you in Miskolc next year and if not then just meeting some way in the future!
